Enrollment Programs & Communications offers a variety of different student leader positions each year that support students and families. Below, you can find more information on our available positions.

Orientation Counselors

Being an OC is a memorable experience where you can build meaningful connections across campus. Orientation Counselors serve as role models to first-year and transfer students in their adjustment and transition to Charlotte. As an OC, you’ll learn and practice specific skills, exhibit problem-solving strategies and implement our New Student Orientation program.

New Student Community Community Builders

Want to become a mentor within New Student Communities (NSC)? NSC will be led by 5 student Community Builders who will help to create and foster community, personal development, and belonging for all new students at Charlotte with the support of student leaders, faculty, and staff. Creative Services Interns

This role supports the creative efforts of Enrollment Programs & Communications. The Creative Services Intern will primarily be responsible for designing digital and print materials and may also assist with photography and videography, collaborate with other student employees and assume other creative responsibilities!

Social Media Interns

Social Media interns support marketing efforts managed by Enrollment Programs & Communications. This role is responsible for photographing, filming and designing content for two offices of Enrollment Management’s social media channels, including Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube, as well as for digital advertisements.

Operations Interns

The Operations Intern works within the Enrollment Programs & Communications to provide leadership and oversight for the development, planning, and implementation of an exceptional transition program for all new UNC Charlotte students. This position works directly with New Student Orientation as well as other enrollment programs.
